Photographs are heirlooms — they only grow more valuable with time.

Choosing the right person to document your day is worth investing in. It’s the person who will spend more time with you on your wedding day than your spouse, the one quietly present during your most intimate moments, and sometimes the one capturing the last photos you’ll ever have of someone you love. It’s an incredible responsibility — and one I’ll never take lightly.

After nine years and hundreds of weddings, I still get goosebumps every time I hear an officiant say, “Repeat after me — with this ring, I thee wed.” It’s the coolest thing in the world to be trusted to freeze that moment in time.

So yes — be picky about who you choose to document your day. Because this is about so much more than trendy photos; it’s about preserving a piece of your story that will outlive us all.

The bride is wearing a strapless lace wedding gown and holding a bouquet of pink, purple, and white flowers. The groom is dressed in a black tuxedo with a bow tie and a boutonniere.
